Worm Cast Fertiliser (10L Bag)
£14.99An amazing, natural fertiliser that we cannot recommend highly enough.
1 x 10L bag of natural fertiliser produced in West Cornwall – we like to think of it as “black gold”!Customers who use worm cast achieve fantastic results and so do we at Rocket HQ. Worm cast is basically earthworm poo and it’s full of essential nutrients that your veg plants (and any other plants that you’re growing) and your soil will thrive on. It’s structure (the texture is a bit like finely ground coffee) makes it slow-releasing and easily absorbed by plants, making it a very effective long-term plant feed that is entirely natural. A small amount of worm cast will easily provide all the nutrients a plant needs for the whole summer.
All you need to do is put a little scoop of worm cast in the hole when popping your plants into their new home (if your plants are already in situ you can sprinkle a little worm cast around the base) and they’ll quickly soak up the nutrients and grow to be very healthy, strong and productive.
It even comes in a reusable strong hessian sack that can be used for storing your potatoes!
Delivery Info: Available to order now. If your order contains any plants, your gardening equipment will be delivered at the same time as your plants. If just ordering equipment it will be sent within a few working days. For further delivery info, please see our FAQs

Jazzy Seed Potatoes (Salad)
£4.99
(10 Tubers)A fantastic yield of salad potatoes
We really love this variety for salad potatoes as they tend to come up quite small (perfect salad size!) They are usually ready to harvest in July, and have light, creamy skin and good texture. One of the benefits is that they will stand quite well in the soil for several weeks, so you needn’t harvest them all at once unless you have a problem with slugs/blight (in which case you can just dig them all up when ready and store in a hessian sack or similar). All in all, a really good choice if you love potato salads.
Number of tubers (seed potatoes): 10
Variety: Jazzy
In the kitchen: Great for salads
Delivery: We start shipping seed potatoes in February

Kestrel Seed Potatoes (Second Early)
£4.99
(10 Tubers)Good taste, and good slug resistance
Kestrel is a great looking potato, but its real qualities come in the form of flavour and slug-resistance. It is a particularly good choice for those with heavy, clay-type soils. With fun purple and white patchy skin, and very versatile in the kitchen, this is definitely one of our favourites. Be aware, it doesn’t do brilliantly if the soil dries out, so if you live in a drier part of the country or have sandy soil, you’ll need to water frequently (or go for a different variety!) Usually ready to harvest in July.
Number of tubers (seed potatoes): 10
Variety: Kestrel
In the kitchen: Great for boiling, mash, chips, roast
-
Wilja Seed Potatoes (Second Early)
£4.99
(10 Tubers)Produces high yields of large potatoes
Wilja is a great all-rounder. It is a second early, so should be ready to harvest in July assuming conditions are favourable. It’s one of those varieties that is great for roasting, for chips, and for jacket potatoes, and it has a good, slightly earthy (but not overpowering) flavour.
Number of tubers (seed potatoes): 10
Variety: Wilja
In the kitchen: Great for boiling
-
Maris Peer Seed Potatoes (Second Early)
£4.99
(10 Tubers)A trusted favourite & good for planting late…
This amazingly popular variety produces reliably regular round shaped and medium sized potatoes. They will normally be ready to harvest in July, and since the texture remains firm they are particularly well suited to boiling. One of the things we like about them is that you can choose to plant them a bit later in the year for a Christmas crop – if you’d like to do this, store the seed potatoes in a dry paper sack (with a few holes for air circulation) in a cool, dark place and plant them in July. Otherwise, pop them in the ground in March/April after chitting and harvest in July.Number of tubers (seed potatoes): 10
Variety: Maris Peer
In the kitchen: This variety has many uses including boiling for salads, steaming and chipping.
Delivery: We start shipping seed potatoes in February

Vietnamese Coriander

Vietnamese Coriander is a popular herb in Asian cooking. It’s very punchy in flavour and has quite a striking look; the top of the leaf is dark green, with chestnut-coloured spots, and the bottom of the leaf is burgundy red. It’s a great alternative to traditional coriander that we’re so used to, the flavour is stronger and it’s less prone to bolting.Number of plants: 3 (8.5cm biodegradable fibre pots)
