You may find some of your veg, herb and edible flowers running to seed now, especially with the hot, dry weather! Some are very good at self seeding, so will happily take over your veg patch next year. We’ve put a list of them below so that you can decide whether to let them self-seed (leave them to do their thing), collect the seed to sow yourself (wait until the flower heads have dried out, as pictured, then carefully collect the seed), or deadhead them (remove the dead flower heads before they produce seeds).
