Sweet Potato – Vineland Early Orange

This tends to be a high yielding variety, and the sweet potatoes look exactly as you’d expect with bright orange flesh and thick red skin. Sweet potatoes will grow best in a greenhouse or polytunnel and will produce many tubers, but if you have a real suntrap of a garden, you could happily plant them outside in well draining soil. For container growing, choose nice deep pots, at least 50cm deep.
