These young herb plants in biodegradable pots are so easy to grow. Just plant them in pots or planters, or straight into the ground, and you’ll be able to start harvesting within a few weeks. This is a German variety, growing upright (as opposed to ground cover) to approx 20cm. It’ll self-seed very easily, so cut it back after flowering if you want to keep it in check.

    Loveage is a superb hardy perennial herb which produces leaves that have quite a strong, punchy flavour that is not dissimilar to celery, but more intense!     Our new potted bay plants are perfect for those who would like to grow a bay hedge. Plant them approximately 60cm apart and let them grow into a hedge over several years. You can keep them neatly clipped by cutting them back in spring each year. They are very easy to care for – just water them in well when planting and give them plenty of compost. Thereafter, just water during dry spells until the plants are well established. They can eventually grow to 7m tall, so be sure to prune to the desired height.
