This is a relatively new variety that makes very good chips or potato wedges. It’s a first early variety so can be planted in March harvested in June/July. We’ll be dispatching in late January/February so that you can chit your potatoes ahead of planting.

This heritage variety dates back to 1942. It produces red, thick skinned tubers with soft fluffy yellow flesh. They are a good option for gardens that tend to get hit by blight, as they are usually ready to harvest in June/July (like most first earlies) and provide an early crop of potatoes that are good for mashing and roasting alongside all the lovely salad potatoes.Number of tubers (seed potatoes): 10
