    A great all rounder
This heritage variety dates back to 1942. It produces red, thick skinned tubers with soft fluffy yellow flesh. They are a good option for gardens that tend to get hit by blight, as they are usually ready to harvest in June/July (like most first earlies) and provide an early crop of potatoes that are good for mashing and roasting alongside all the lovely salad potatoes.

  • Rocket Seed Potatoes (First Early)

    £4.99
    (10 Tubers)

Quick growers that produce a heavy crop

Named for its speed of growth, Rocket potatoes will produce a fairly heavy crop very early on in the season, often as early as the first week or so of June. The potatoes are waxy in texture, and pleasingly round and uniform in shape. They are a good new potato option, especially if you’re growing for the first time as you’ll find you get lots to dig up!

    Variety: Rocket (First Early)

In the Kitchen: Use as a new potato – boiled with plenty of butter and seasoned well!
