    Loveage is a superb hardy perennial herb which produces leaves that have quite a strong, punchy flavour that is not dissimilar to celery, but more intense! It’ll grow quite big in the summer, to approximately 1m-2m high, and 1m wide, so give it plenty of space. It will die back for winter before returning in spring.     Our new potted bay plants are perfect for those who would like to grow a bay hedge. Plant them approximately 60cm apart and let them grow into a hedge over several years. You can keep them neatly clipped by cutting them back in spring each year. They are very easy to care for – just water them in well when planting and give them plenty of compost. Thereafter, just water during dry spells until the plants are well established. They can eventually grow to 7m tall, so be sure to prune to the desired height.

  • Vietnamese Coriander

    Vietnamese Coriander is a popular herb in Asian cooking. It’s very punchy in flavour and has quite a striking look; the top of the leaf is dark green, with chestnut-coloured spots, and the bottom of the leaf is burgundy red. It’s a great alternative to traditional coriander that we’re so used to, the flavour is stronger and it’s less prone to bolting.
