    Unusual, easy to grow and deliciously tasty
    This cylindrical beetroot has smooth skin and dark purple-red flesh. We love it for being so easy to slice, and it is perfect for pots too as it really needs very little space to grow. The roots tend to poke above the soil, but they can be earthed up and will remain in good condition for several weeks until you are ready to harvest them. As a climber, you’ll need to have space for it to sprawl along the ground (a dedicated raised bed is perfect) or a sturdy trellis/fence for the plants to climb.
