British Basil is just the thing for the kitchen windowsill in early autumn – you’ll be able to use it more or less immediately. Just keep it in a pot, on the windowsill, and water regularly. If you pick leaves frequently, leaving a pair of new leaves on the shoots, you’ll keep it going for longer.
