Wild Rocket is perfect for autumn growing

This is one of our favourite vegetable plants to grow over autumn and winter. The taste is phenomenal compared to shop bought rocket and it just keeps cropping for months, right through to the following spring. Cut the outer leaves off as they reach the desired size, usually from November onwards. Be sure to plant it in a spot that gets plenty of winter sun – or a greenhouse would be even better. In very cold weather it will not grow much, but will burst back into action when it warms up. You’ll receive a growing guide with the plants.

In the kitchen: With its peppery flavoured leaves, wild rocket is delicious used in salads. Sprinkle over pizzas and pasta dishes too for a little kick.
