Your mulberry bush will eventually grow to 4m tall. You can grow in pots or in the ground, but choose a sunny site that is sheltered from the wind.

How to plant Mulberry
- Choose a sunny location with fertile, well-drained soil.
- Can be grown in a pot (re-pot as they grow) or in the ground.
- Dig in plenty of compost if growing in the ground.
- They will eventually grow to 4m tall, so allow plenty of space if planting in the ground.
How to grow Mulberry
- Water well while the plant is getting established, and then during prolonged dry spells.
- It can reach a height of approx 4m over time.
- You can keep it small with regular winter pruning
- If pruning, cut back last year’s shoots (during winter months) by no more than half.
Harvesting Mulberries
- Harvest Jul-Aug.
- Fruits should turn dark, like a blackberry, when ripe.
