How to Plant Hyssop
- Hyssop loves the sun so give it as much as possible!
- Plant in pots, or 45cm apart
- Choose well-drained soil

- Pinch out the growing tips regularly to keep the plant nice and bushy
- Deadhead flowers often
- Cut back hard in early spring from the 2nd year onwards
How to Harvest Hyssop
- Harvest sprigs as and when you want to use them – use it sparingly in the kitchen as the flavour is quite intense!
- Try adding a few chopped leaves to casseroles or soups for a lemony tang.
- You could try using it instead of tarragon with creamy chicken dishes as well.
